1. 생활의 리듬이 규칙적으로
된다

border=1>     수유간격이 하루 6-8회 정도로 일정해지고 변을 보는 횟수는 하루
2~3회 정도가 된다.

2. 깨어있는 시간이 조금씩
늘어난다

    신생아 때 먹고 자는 것을 반복하던 아기가 이제는 수유시간
이외에도 눈을 뜨고 있을 때가 많아진다. 하루 종일 잠만 잤던 신생아 때와 달리 낮에 깨어 있는 시간이 조금씩 늘고 엄마와
눈을 맞추며 놀기도 한다.

border=1>     밤에 3~4시간마다 깨어 젖을 찾는 아기도 있지만, 서서히 밤에
5-6시간씩 푹 잠을 자게 된다.

3. 손을 꼭 쥔 상태에서 입으로 가져가
빤다

border=1>   이 시기 아기는 주먹을 쥐고 입으로 가져가 빨거나 손가락을 넣어 빠는 것을
자주 볼 수 있는데 이는 지극히 자연스러운 현상으로 욕구불만에서 나온 것이 아니라 아기에겐 일종의 ‘놀이’라고 보면 된다.
그러니까 억지로 못하게 한다던지 윽박지르는 것은
금물이다.
